| | The Twin Cities chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute represents more than 90 public companies and has a membership of over 125 investor relations professionals and service providers. This form will be used to better meet the needs of the Twin Cities Chapter Members and schedule meetings and/or seminars to fill those needs. Our mission is to represent the highest level of investor relations practices and to provide a resource for investor relations professionals. The chapter meets on a monthly basis and provides a forum for the open exploration of the challenges facing public companies in the new millennium. Mission: Effectively meet the needs of the Twin Cities Chapter members while elevating visibility of the investor relations profession and the NIRI organization. Twin Cities Chapter Goals: - Effectively identify and quantify the Chapter members’ varying needs.
- Provide Chapter members with excellent, appropriate educational opportunities and value-added services that enable them to develop professionally, practice investor relations more effectively, and learn about new issues, directions and trends affecting the investor relations profession.
- Provide opportunities for Chapter members to effectively network.
- Communicate effectively with Chapter members and NIRI National.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with other local professional associations that from time to time have interests in common with Chapter members.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with local scholastic institutions, such as the University of Minnesota, the University of St. Thomas and Macalester College.
- Build and maintain effective associations with local journalists, press and other local media.
- Provide Chapter Board members with excellent, appropriate educational opportunities that enable them to become a more effective Board members, learn about new issues, directions and trends affecting the NIRI chapters nationally and develop professionally.
